Facebook benytter seg av kunstig intellgens for å anbefale relevante videoer til sine brukere. Men i tilfellet som omtales i denne saken, tabbet AI-en seg skikkelig ut.

Brukere som som så en video som inneholdt svarte menn, ble etter at videoen var ferdig spurt om de ønsket å «se flere videoer om primater».

Facebook: – Uakseptabel feil

Facebook sier til BBC News at dette «åpenbart er en uaksepabel feil». Selskapet skal ha deaktivert AI-systemet og ingangsatt en etterforskning etter hendelsen.
